notes: part of Petty’s five night run at the Beacon. The taper took a pee break between Good Enough and House In The Woods. I spared the gory details. Further, he left during the encore break, not to return. According to online setlists, the encore of You Wreck Me and American Girl were played, but not recorded by this taper. Warning: some parts of this show have some serious gabbing going on. It is unclear if the taper was part of the conversation or just in a spot that he could not move from. While recorded with decent equipment by a capable taper, this show seems to suffer from bad recording position in addition to the above mentioned flaws. While NOT unlistenable, it is recommended more for collectors than casual fans.

band: Tom Petty/Mike Campbell/Scott Thurston/Steve Ferrone/Ron Blair/Benmont Tench

This show is another “Bakerstuff” master. He was kind enough to give some of his masters to be shared in this forum. If you have masters that you would like to share, but lack the tools, time, or know-how, please contact SMORES on DIME and I will be happy to discuss them with you. thanks.
