Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
The Fillmore
San Francisco, CA
1999-03-13
Traded this audience recording (via 3 CDs of wav files) over a decade ago and so don’t have the information. Please do not sell.
Converted from WAV to FLAC.
This show is notable, not just for its length, but also because it is one of the first few shows that the band started previewing material from the “Echo” album before its release that April. Additionally, this the only live performance of the song “Echo,” and this is the second ever performance of “Sweet William” (first performed the night prior), which would not be played again until the 2008 Summer Tour. Some cool covers are on here too – while a few of them are typical of the 1997/1999 Fillmore shows, some of them are not: including “Never Be Anyone Else But You,” which Tom dedicated to his daughter Adria.
